Over the past few years, AXIS has migrated from HP-UX to Linux. Many clubs have taken advantage of this change to shift to a virtualized environment increasing deployment flexibility, disaster recovery options while reducing costs. Some clubs have taken the next step and moved to a co-located data center or even managed services. We have one club running AXIS at Azure today. Public clouds such as Azure offer further flexibility and cost efficiencies.
